NEW YORK, April 18, 2024 – Premiere Networks and top nationally-syndicated radio personality Elvis Duran announced today the addition of “Give It A Chance with Kevin Devine and Casey Jost to the Elvis Duran Podcast Network. The new weekly podcast will launch Thursday, April 25, 2024, on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard. Listen to the official podcast trailer HERE.

In each episode, musician Kevin Devine and actor/writer/musician Casey Jost will review a famously despised pop song. After sharing their first impressions, as well as some insight as to when the song was originally released, they will break down the good, the bad, and the ugly of the tune’s musical attributes and lyricism. They will also compare it to similar songs that are beloved and discuss why the world has decided it’s famously awful.

“There’s nothing more subjective than what makes for good - or bad - art/entertainment, and fewer things are more fun to hash out at ridiculous length with your friends,” said Devine. “Casey and I do exactly that, and in a seriously unserious way that gets us to reconsider our own taste biases and impulses, always punching up at songs way more successful than we will ever be. It’s rangy and fun, and well worth a CHANCEY - c’mon, c’mon, c’mon.”

"We're all trying to be a little more positive, right?!” shared Jost. “With that mantra in mind, we OPTIMISTICALLY listen to songs we hate - and we force ourselves to find value in them. My hope is, whether you agree or disagree with our opinions, you enjoy the fun Kevin and I are having while we discuss these lame tunes. Plus, I feel confident that you'll enjoy our silly tangents."

"Casey and Kevin will be great additions to our already incredible podcast roster!” said Duran.  “I know our listeners will love their witty sense of humor and GIVE IT A CHANCE when it comes to this podcast."

New episodes of Give It A Chance with Kevin Devine and Casey Jost will be available Thursdays on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.
